Yesterday I had to take a big decision. After more than 1 year in Malaysia, I have to leave. They did not extend our amnesty to overstay the social visit pass of foreigners like me. So we all have to leave before April 21. I booked my accommodation already, and flight ticket. The destination is not so far, and very interesting.
All that happened had generated a stressful mindset lately, I am in a constant mix of stress and excitement. Traveling by these times is not easy, and I am still unsure if all goes fine to reach my new destination. I will update on that soon.
Today I am going on this incredible trip with my friend Haziq and 2 guides/boat. We are going to place 3 recorders in the forest reserve Belum-Temenggor, one of the oldest rainforest on earth (they say the oldest). I had to prepare all the gear and found extra power banks. It’s exciting and I hope all goes well.
