Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka
Today is my last day in Arugam Bay, I am leaving for Ella tomorrow. I’m happy I could do the recordings of bats I needed to do. I feel relieved. Now I have much work to do still with UCS. Even though all the files are ready, I need to repack everything, re-upload everything on the 2 mirrors and then reconfigure all links into the system. It is a full moon today, and as usual, on every full moon there is a celebration, this one is called Poson full moon Poya. I am taking some time in these last 2 days in Arugam Bay to record ambiences around the town, they have many mosques in this region, so I had captured some calls to prayer too. The light is beautiful at sunset and sunrise.
