Journal Entry: Day 11

Kampar, Perak, Malaysia,

Yesterday, I went exploring around at some places that I had spotted on the map.
There is this cave Gua Tempurung, which I drove to, but the entrance was closed due to the covid measures.
So I had to go back. Then I went back to the waterfall Air Terjun Batu Berangkai, which is supposed to be the beginning of the trail to the mountain gunong Relau, and the other one. I was looking for a quiet spot to leave my recorder for the night, near the nature. However I searched, I couldn’t find any good spot. The only trail I found lead to local settlements. And all places were looking towards the waterfall with strong noise, and it was too close to the village there. So I went back a little disappointed, but was happy to see some nature anyway. Then I explored a little more of the old town at sunset, the light was beautiful for some pictures. I think I will still able to explore some of the area during lock-down, especially the lakes which are near the house.

Today, I will get prepared for the 2 next weeks. As announced Tuesday, all states in Malaysia will go Friday under MCO (lockdown) for 2 weeks. So I better will prepare my place, and my workstation for this time period.
