Journal Entry: Day 73

Lumut, Perak, Malaysia,

Yesterday I moved from Kampar to Lumut, not a long trip, but with all my stuff on the bike, having to pack and unpack, it made pretty much all my day.
I met my friend in Kampar for the last lunch in the town. No major trouble. On the road, I stopped by Seri Iskandar and had a roti John, one Malaysian specialty which is mostly inspired by Western food.
I arrived at the same place I visited one week earlier, which I already booked for this upcoming week. Lumut has a very nice waterfront walkway, probably one of the most beautiful I have seen so far. It is however a very small town. There aren’t many choices in cafes and restaurants, most of the options are geared towards tourists. In the evening, I had my Malay class and had a good rest in a better bed than the one in Kampar.
